EKES actively supports after-school programs that enrich student learning opportunities at the school and in the community. The PTO's Enrichment Committee organizes the majority of our after-school activities offered to students. These activities vary from year to year but typically include karate, cooking club, book club, model building club, drama club, and art club. The school also offers interscholastic cross-country and an annual spring musical.

In addition, EKES houses town recreational Soccer and basketball programs and Girls on the Run. The school is also continually in use in the evenings with community-based meetings and adult recreational athletics.
