As a lifelong resident of East Kingston, I am happy to have returned to my roots as a member of the East Kingston Elementary School community.

I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of New Hampshire with a minor in Family Studies and my Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University. Prior to receiving my graduate degree, I spent several years as a Speech-Language Assistant then SLP in the Epping School District working with students ages 3-21. My “coming home” to East Kingston for the 2019-2020 school year, also marks my tenth year working in schools. I am ASHA certified and a member of SIG 12 (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and SIG 16 (School-Based Issues), which are special interest groups dedicated to specific areas within the field of speech-language pathology.

I have experience working in the educational, private practice and hospital settings with individuals ranging from infants to the elderly, however, the development of skills within the early childhood and elementary years is what I am most passionate about. As the SLP for EKES my goal is to assist students with the development of their speech, language, and communication skills to support their functional communication as well as their academics.

When I am not at school, I can be found spending time with my husband and daughter, crocheting, cooking, or reading. In the summers we enjoy spending time at my family’s camp.
