Physical Education News and Notes

Thanks to all of the students who helped raise over $1,900.00 for the American Heart Association, through our Jump Rope for Heart event. The gift prizes have come in and I am in the process of getting them to you.

We have just put the finishing touches on a striking unit with the focus being on hockey skills. Coming up in the months ahead are fitness, Lacrosse, catching, and track and field units. Again check the web page for more information.

Some great progress has been made in our fund raising efforts for the new playground! We are looking forward to the pancake breakfast and the bike-a-thon/rodeo. My hope is that you can make it to one or all of the events. If you cannot please visit our display in the lobby of the school, for information on how else you can help.

Hope everyone has spring fever like myself. Lets get out and enjoy it. We’ve earned it.
